Columbus City Schools was established in 1845. This is the largest schools district in the state of Ohio. Columbus City Schools have almost 50,000 students enrolled in k-12 grade spectrum. Also, there are 109 schools that represent Columbus City Schools k-12. There are 21 High Schools that represent Columbus CIty Schools. The two Conferences are City League North and South. The City League North consists of Northland, East, Mifflin, Whetstone, Centennial, Linden McKinley, and Beechcroft. City League South consists of Eastmoor, Africentric, Marion Franklin, Columbus International, South, Walnut Ridge, West, Briggs, and Independence.

Mario Bowles- Athletic and Student Activity Coordinator

 

 

 

Graduated from Marion Franklin in 2001. He was the Athletic Director at Marion Franklin as well and was voted AD of the year in 2013 at Marion Franklin. He has been an Athletic Director in Columbus City Schools since 2008. His daughter is currently a student at Eastmoor Academy.
